At Bambubuyog, our mission is to empower rural communities in the Philippines through sustainable beekeeping - producing ethical honey and offering eco-friendly beehives and bee colony rentals that help farmers grow their livelihoods while protecting native bees. By blending innovation, education, and local craftsmanship, we aim to create a ripple of positive impact from farm to table.

Aruga Stingless Bee Honey

Harvested from the lush farms of El Nido, Palawan, our stingless bee honey is a rare and precious gift from nature. Produced by native stingless bees (kiyot), this golden nectar is collected in small batches using sustainable and ethical beekeeping practices that protect both the bees and their natural habitat.

Unlike conventional honey, stingless bee honey has a distinctly tangy-sweet flavor, rich in natural enzymes, propolis, and antioxidants - a taste that reflects the tropical biodiversity

Aruga Bee Colonies

Enhance your farm’s productivity with Aruga Bee Colonies, sustainably handcrafted in El Nido, Palawan. Designed for native stingless bees, our hives naturally boost crop pollination and yield while producing premium honey. Each hive supports local craftsmanship, environmental conservation, and farmer empowerment, helping build a thriving ecosystem where communities and nature grow together in harmony.

Our Story

Bambubuyog was born from the vision of NUS students from Singapore during our Impact Experience Project (IEx) in El Nido, Palawan. What began as a school initiative soon became a mission :- to support small bee farmers and protect the native stingless bees that keep Palawan’s ecosystems alive.

Witnessing the financial and logistical challenges faced by local communities inspired us to create a sustainable model that empowers farmers through eco-friendly beekeeping, fair partnerships, and high-quality stingless bee products.

Today, Bambubuyog continues to grow as a community-driven social enterprise, bridging innovation and tradition to build a sweeter, more sustainable future. One hive at a time.
